Good Credit Question?

How long is good credit suppose to stay on your CR?

The reason I'm asking is because I have an old store CC that has been closed and it is only showing on my experian report.

Typically 10 years from the date of closure. Nothing prevents the CRA(s) from deleting earlier though. I personally had an account report longer than the 10 years, but that was a good thing.

You probably can't. If you wanted to risk it, contact the OC and ask if they can, but there's a very high probability they'll end up deleting off EX too.

I have 3-4 accounts that are now closed. All in perfect standing from 1996-1999...... Still listed on all three reports.

Usually 10 years, but hey, just leave them be. Let them post as long as they want if they're good accts.

I have an account that has been closed for 18 years still reporting on TU but not on the others. I definitely am not going to say anything. Hopefully they will continue to report it on that one at least.
