Does anyone know if ADT does a soft or hard inquiry. some of these companies lately have been killing with inquires, AT&T to name one. Just moved into a new house.

YMMV. YMMV because it's up to the individual franchisee to choose whether or not a report is pulled, or so says a rep that posted on here once. We signed up last year and it was a hard pull on EQ. They don't use Beacon 5.0, and it's either a newer or older version, or an industry version.

OT - I just got Lifeshield. Much cheaper then ADT and better technology. They also only did a soft on my EQ report.

Thanks for the replies. I settled for ADT because the system was already installed in this rental home.
