Eh, I had a paid collection that took a long time (in credit-rebuilding terms).

EQ deleted 3-ish weeks after the GW acceptance letter.

EX deleted 3-4 weeks after EQ.

TU deleted 3-4 weeks after EX.

It really depends on the CRA and its mood at the time.

They are quick to report a late payment or a collection, but slow to remove them.

Good luck.. And don't get too worried about it. If 6 weeks rolls around, and it hasn't deleted from even EX (generally the fastest, except in my case. haha), then worry about contacting the CA.

Me again. Sorry!

When the CA told me they were going to file a deletion with the CBs, they said they did it electronically on the 20th of the month. The letter I have from them says the process can take "up to 6 weeks" (but does not mention the 20th). If they file electronically with the CBs on the 20th, how long does it take for that information to show up on a report? I am hoping the "up to 6 weeks" is for the folks who get a deletion letter right after the 20th. Although that still doesn't add up to 6 weeks. ???
