Welcome!

As far as I know, FICO does not collect any data whatsoever in terms of credit reporting. They are a scoring company who scores on data provided by other data providers. In the US, the 3 main credit reporting agencies provide the data and based on that data, FICO creates a score. This data includes your accounts, payment histories, credit inquiries, etc. It does not include info like where you live, income, job history, debt to income ratio, assets, etc. Check out FICO's website for more info.

Hey all!

Does anyone know in which countries collecting positive credit data is legal for firms like FICO? I know in Germany Schufa can collect negative (debts etc.) and positive (income etc.) data on consumers.

How is it in the US and other European countries?

Cheers!
