"Date opened" on CR

I am working to dispute some things on my credit report - am I not correct that CAs must list the "date opened" as the date that the original debt was opened, not the date that the CA obtained the debt? Also, where on my report can I find the DOFD? I am having trouble locating this in my reports. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am in the same boat as you. I think that if you call the CRA's, that they will be able to tell you, but I could be mistaken.

You should always call the CRAs to get an accurate DOFD.
