****FCRA 611(a)(B)(iii) and 611(a)(7), commonly called a Method of Verification request, provides that, upon request, "a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the iformation shall be provided to the consumer, including the business name and address of any furnisher of information contacted in connection with such information, and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available."***

Would this work in my case? Meaning, there was no dispute initiated through the CRA but rather a DVL sent to the CA along with a complaint filed. DF first updated account (via UDF, I suppose?) by continuing collection activity (i.e. updating dates, increasing balances).....short time later same DF sends another UDF requesting deletion. All was done within initial 30 days as described in section 809 of FDCPA.

******The UDF is the initial form sent to the furnisher under e-Oscar in fulfillment of the CRA requirement to provide a copy of the dispute to the furnisher, so under sectio 611(a)(7), you can request that document from the CRA.

Under the statute, the furnisher is required to respond back to the CRA within the CRA's reinvestigation period, providing their verification, correction, or deletion of the disputed information. They use the same UDF in their response. So I would suppose that a copy of their response UDF could also be requested under the MOV process, although the statute only makes specific reference to the CRA contact with the furnisher.*******

Thank you for the information...question though....611(a)(7) seems more geared toward if a a TL comes back verified and not deleted, in this case. Would this still work in this case?

*****As an alternative, FCRA 609(a)(1) requires that, upon request from the consumer, the CRA must provide "all information in the consumer's file at the time of the request....", so a request under section 609(a)(1) would also apparently be a path. Such requests require a fee payable to the CRA, which is currently $11.00.*****

"all information in the consumers fie at the time of the request" ....is this, in other words, just a credit report?

Thanks again for your assistance.
