Junes report was updated by the 14th. I applied July 13th. I know my monitoring service only offers fako scores but the account information should be correct.

It would make sense that the credit card company pulled my report as of may, anticipating the end of my 0% interest period, and assumed my July report would be the same. So is is reasonable to request a new pull of my report and reconsideration of my credit line increase? I don't need the increase but my limits are low since these are my first cards and I am in the process of building my credit so I figure I might as well take the increases as I can get them, regardless of need.

Thanks again for the help

I recently requested a credit line increase from citi, I was denied and told my balances were too high per my may 2013 equifax report. The thing is I paid all my balances down to zero for my June 2013 statements before 0% interest period ended. According to my credit monitoring program all cards were reported at zero for June and my score jumped approximately 100 points. Why wouldn't equifax send the most current report? Is this common? How long do I have to wait for them to send my new and improved credit report? Can I get equifax to send the proper report to citi for reconsideration of my credit limit increase? Thanks in advance for any insight.

EQ would not "send" an old report. Your creditor used a report they already had on you back in May. EQ updates their information when they receive it from the creditor. If the creditor hasn't updated, then they wouldn't have the up to date info.

When your credit report is pulled, it displays a snapshot of what your CR looks like right then. You would have to contact your lender and ask them to pull a new report for your CLI.
