Hi everyone,

What's the best way to get a personal loan to consolidate my credit card debt? My current score is 680 on creditkarma and about the same last time I checked on here, or it may have even been a bit more, I don't quite remember.

I've read that personal loans are hard to qualify for unless you have really good credit. I believe I tried applying a few years ago and got denied.

What are my other alternatives?

My credit to debt ratio is about 38% which is on the high side.

If your not able to get a loan with your banks I would try lending club ( https://www.lendingclub.com). Interest rates can vary on the high side.
