What mean ( Pay status: current) if the account is closed

I have many old account some in goodstanding others not that have on Pay status: Current ( and I no longer have their card and some are installment loans. Is this bad or good for your credit. Should I dispute the status?

Some of them have late payments but not chargeoff or collections.

Current is what you want on accounts.

If an account is marked "current" the baddies drop off at 7 years and continues to report as a positive TL

If it is marked with a derog status it will get deleted whe DOFD passes.

Have you tried a GW letter?
