Chase hard pulls

I recently applied for a Chase Freedom and was approved instantly. The next day or so I received notice that Chase pulled from both Equifax and Transunion. Ok, understood. A few days later I receive another alert that Chase again pulled from Transunion. Is this normal to pull twice, days apart from the same credit bureau?

It's possible that they only pulled once but you received a duplicate notice ~ did you check your TU report to see if they actually pulled twice?
