If I closed my bank accounts, say DCU checking n savings, in goodstanding to keep it simple and consolidate my financial activity, would I get a negative entry on my ChexSystems report?

Should be no negative if you don't owe them any money and close

I saw your thread yesterday I think it was did you app CSP and get approved?

No, I did not. Especially after NFCU only gave me $1000 CL on my last app with them, because of my recent new accounts and inquires. So far my other cards are all over $5000 CL. I want to apply for CSP next year or even later.

Haha yea I did!

@digital, there won't be any negative notations. Based on my understanding, notations are only made when the checking/savings account go into overdraft, default with negative balances, and bounced checks / payments.
