      <description>&lt;P&gt;I paid off 3 cards on 9/20 that had high balances. One Cap 1 reports on the 30th of the month (closes on the 27th) and has already updated, another Cap 1 reports around the 10th (closes on the 6th) so I'm expecting that one to update next week and then Home Depot reports around the 18th. If I could have paid them off a week earlier the Home Depot would have updated sooner and not taken a full month.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It all depends on your timing with the payments and when the statements close and report (like takeshi74 stated).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
