Unable to read equifax credit report online

Hi all,

I went through the annualcreditreport.com to check my equifax credit report. I'm assuming I answered a question wrong because the site will not let me check my report online...suggested I get the report mailed to me. What steps do I need to take to get this problem resolved so that I can check my report online?

I'm sure it's been talked about before...I just can't find anything that relates to it.

I don't know that you can get it resolved so that you can check it online.

I have had it happen to me. I call up the CB and ask for a hard copy to be mailed to me.

I had the same thing happen to me last year they had to mail it.

Call them and ask. I had the same problem, so I called. They asked me to fax them a copy of my driver's license, I did so, they fixed it, and I was able to view the report online. I think I answered one or more of the questions incorrectly, which locked me out. Personally, I'm glad that they verify your identity and think that the protection is definitely worth the minor inconvenience of having to call and send my info to them.

I think it so important to always check your credit score. Errors can happen and you need to get those resolved asap.

Credit scores usually have some kind of error. Now credit scores are used to get a job, get insurance ...and of course loans.

You can save $1000's by working your credit score higher...here's more information I got from 1MinuteCreditScore
