Oh Snap, Free FICO Scores from Chase???!!!!

So, after reading all new threads about Barclays & Discover offering free FICO scores monthly, this morning I've decided to SM Chase asking if they offer free FICO scoring for all cardholders. This is the email I've just received...correct me if I'm wrong but I think it says that we can also get FREE FICO scores monthly, too? Did anyone know about this?

Um, pics or it didn't happen? .

I just logged into my Chase account and looked around, couldn't find any reference to it. Short of exact, reproducible steps to see it, I am not so certain about this.

a quick search and this popped up from an old fico thread

(you can change the last 2 dights '78' and get the desired score so you can put 84 and it would show up as 840, this is not my score)

No where to be found on my Chase accounts...and I looked everywhere. Also did a site search and nada.

However.....

I'm wondering if they've not started it yet. Perhaps it will start when we begin receiving our next statements, December or January?

On the Discover website, there is now a statement on the Home Page : Your free FICO® Credit Score will be available on your next statement

For me, that would be either November 20th or December 20th.

<------------------------------------- Keeps fingers crossed that Chase will do something similar with December statements !

Interesting ... just used the secure message on my Chase accounts and Chase said they were NOT credit bureaus and sent me to the three credit bureaus. What the heck?

Hmmm so my statement cut today so i tried logging on to my chase account to see if i could find anything about this fico score. No where on my chase account summary or statement does it say anything about fico score, am i missing something here? Do i need to opt in ?
