He is authorized on many of my accounts; what will happen? We are in the process of divorce, I am also joint on two of his cards, amex and chase.. im very nervous now that i will be affected.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I made sure I was removed of the mortgage loan.. I would be screwed because its in foreclosure and about almost 300k behind in payments, the attorney advised us that file bankrupcty in his name and they will workout a mod with the lender. I will defitnely call the cards.. I have used the cards im au on because i dont want to be involved with that. So the balance is whatever he owes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If you're a joint applicant on a card, even if you have not used it, you're still as reposponsible as he is. That goes for any debts that you have jointly. They don't care about divorce decrees or any of that, and consider it a civil matter. I think it would be a good idea to set yourself with a financial advisor just in case also.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How is he able to file for BK twice in 6 years?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
