Got approved by Dell computer

My computer has been needing to be replaced for some time now.....so i took the plunge and applied for credit at the Dell website.......got approved for 1500.00 line of credit!!!!! Ordered a sweet sweet Dell notebook (laptop) and printer lastnight. Spent about 1200.00 and my monthly payment will only be 43.00 per month. Of course I'll pay more and get it paid off sooner. They pulled Experian.....my score after all these inquiries lately is 644. Still alot better than it was a month ago!!!!!!

Just FYI incase ya need a new computer to keep up with all this Fico info........

Way to go! I think Dell has always pulled EX. Just remember to pay more than min. Dell rates are horrible.

yea....come Monday, once they've updated my purchase on my account, I'm gonna go ahead and pay half of it off. I needed the new computer....i applied for the Dell charge card really just to see if i would get approved!

2 yrs ago I applied for Dell's no interest puter loan, was declined for that but approved for $2500 cl. got my laptop, paid it off and now still shows as a cl in good standing on my cr.

i got a dell account just to have another good account laying around on my report...their interest rate scares me, but i bought an ink cartridge that i needed anyway just to have some activity on the account.

Dell preferred accounts are very easily attainable, if you want to take that route with scores ranging from 640 and above. As stated before that interest rates are scary but if you're in need of a new credit line with a new computer I would definetely apply for the preferred account.
