Transunion seems to be nicer at this point

Experian is next

Equifax is giving no love.

Have been working on getting my credit back. Started with a 535 score on all. Now at 635 with Transunion and Experian but Equifax is holding me down at 582. What is the average CS to get a department store CC? I opened a CC with First Premier Bank sole reason for this is to get CS up and it is working. Don't want to keep them as a prime CC forever so looking for a department store as I have heard they are more forgiving with CS's then a national CC. What ya think?

Unless these are FICO scores that you're looking at, they may not be meaningful in assessing where you're really at with your credit.

Comparing scores from different bureaus is difficult unless they're all the same FICO model like 04 or 08.

What I'd probably consider at this point is getting a couple of good secured cards, like the SDFCU one.

None of them are tough. Your score is based on the data in your report with each CRA. If your score is low it's because of your data -- not because the CRA is being "tough".

@Anonymous wrote:

What ya think?

Store card can be beneficial if you have a use for it. Credit unions with more lax requirements and secured are generally recommended for rebuilding.
