Okay so I paid for all 3 reports and scores, but there are things that I know should be on my report. Like for instance, I have a loan that was on a previous credit report I received from transunion but it is not showing on myfico.com. Why? Also, my score is higher then what was reported to me from a credit grantor. Can you tell me why the big difference? It wasn't that long ago that I had my reports pulled or received the letter from the company I was trying finance my semi through. How do I know which report is the correct one?

How do I know which report is the correct one?

If you have questions about the content of your reports, I'd start by pulling them directly from the bureaus.

Re the scores not matching -- there are a lot of different scoring models, and many lenders use FICO variants that are not generally available, or they use their own internal scoring systems.

For general credit guidance, I would go with the EX 08 / EQ 08 scores found here, or the TU 08 score found at Barclays, Discover, and Walmart.

If you're buying a house, I'd go with the 04 scores found on the Equifax site and at DCU and PSECU.
