I'm looking to join DCU soon as I would like to get a car loan from them in a month or 2. The problem is that I recently moved to a new state and don't yet have a ID with my new address on it. I did change the address on my credit cards so it show on my credit reports. Even worse is that the state I moved to confiscates your old ID when you get a new one. I have been having to fly a lot lately so I haven't had a period where I could be ID free long enough to get switched. Does anyone know if this will be a problem with DCU?

An alternative would be to sign up with my old address and change it once approved. I can still receive mail at the old address.

Just make sure you have a couple utility / CC bills with your new address, and perhaps the address change confirmation form from the post office. (it shows your old and new address)

DCU can be fickle on id verifications and when they ask for a DL, it will be a color copy. To be safe, I would have a government issued valid id available.
