My Fico 3 Bureau Monitoring - $19.95 pm

Hi All

Am I reading this correctly? - I can get all 3 Fico Reports every month for $19.95 a month total? - Seems like a heck of a deal to me I know some of these things only include 1 of each report per year - but this seems to be 3 new reports every month - whoo hoo

Anybody signed up for this?

I'm planning on upgrading my score watch to the three report monitoring tomorrow. I would have already done it, but they are closed till Monday. I would imagine anyone who plans on keeping score watch would upgrade. Seems like a much better option for only $5 more.

I think its monthly scores rather than reports. I already had the Score watch so for $5 bucks more I just upgraded to the 3 Bureau and from my experience its almost exactly like Score watch. My account shows this...I was given a report for each bureau the day I signed up which was the 22nd and then it shows in my account I am due another report August 22, 2015 so it appears to me that it is once a year for the reports but you do get all 3 with that and if you count the reports you get yearly from annual credit report then you could have it to where you can get your reports free at least once every 6 months or twice a year. The scores are updated monthly but you can also go in and set a "goal" score and if your score changes before the month hits it will alert you to a score change and you can again reset your goal so that you will get an alert every time it changes which can be multiple times a month rather than just once a month. You may want to call in and clarify that but that is just my experience so far, but of course its only been a few days so not really that experienced with it yet.

A 3-month minimum is required.

It's just a marketing ploy. It's still the same 'ol $59.99 for all 3 scores, just spread out over 3 months.

It is 3 bureau monitoring and 3 bureau credit score monitoring it doesn't say anything about credit reports. I was going to jump on this but I don't know how much I want this if it doesn't tell me what is actually going on on my CR. I am going to what and see peoples feedback on it.

I don't think its actual reports just scores and monitoring .

Yes, that how I got my signature! My signature is a crop of the display of the 3 FICO scores you get with the new product. Highly recommended!

It is a monitoring service yes, but it also includes a yearly report from each of the 3 bureaus as well or at least mine did! Also yes it is a minimum of 3 months but you don't have to pay the $60 up front they just charge the 20 bucks a month you're just required to keep it at least 3 months, but if you count that up thats $180 worth of scores even if you just get 1 score from each bureau a month 3 months times 3 scores is 9 total, but the big deal is you can get even more than that because if your score changes throughout the month you will be alerted and it will show your new score update. I highly recommend it and think its a great deal, but thats just me...everyone is different

Yes. But you can cancel anytime after the initial three months and there's a discount if you sign up for an annual subscription (you save $20 buck). Thus, you can try the service for three months, and if you like it, cancel and sign up for the annual or just switch to the annual. Perhaps one or both of those methods would also give you an extra 3 month Bureau report.

The CSR said that they don't charge the $60 up front they do the regular monthly subscription fee, however, since you are required to keep it for at least 3 months if you were to cancel before then your card would be charged for the remaining balance. The reason for the 3 month min. is that if you were to purchase all 3 of your scores separately then you'd of course pay the $59.95 for them which would be equal to the 3 month subscription, however, the benefit of the subscription means your getting 3 sets of scores for that same price rather than just one Hope that helps to clarify...I had questions at first to so I had a chat with the CSR.

They've taken their FICO 3 report view, added monitoring to it, and for kicks and giggles said "hey, why don't you spread the cost over three months instead of paying $60 up-front. As an added incentive, we'll even let you use the FICO simulators for all three Bureaus while you spread out your payments." Tough call on this one for anyone who's ever paid for all three reports.

I agree with that for the first 3 months, but I'm looking at it from the perspective of after that I am getting 3 credit scores per month for 19.95 rather than paying 59.95. Even if you don't get a new report each month the alerts let you know if something is amiss and in conclusion I'd say for ppl who are very anal about wanting/needing to know their scores constantly its a great deal, however, on the other hand if its not that important to you and you don't really need to know your scores that often or have no desire for new credit or anything credit related coming up in the near future then I'd say just pocket the 19.95 and wait until you really need it. Then of course there are those of us who just has way too much curiosity and can't resist being able to access all 3 monthly
