It is a nice change from years ago. Back then I couldn't get approved for anything.

Now, they approve applications quickly. I don't apply for many new cards any more, but I did just app for a REI Visa to get the extra 5% back on my purchases at the end of the year. It was approved in about 5 seconds online with a $19,500 limit. I was suprised it came back that fast.

Good news bad news with my walmart TU score that just posted for me. The bad news is it dropped 11 points from 800 to 789. The good news i gathered from this is finally the 3 monitoring service here is matching up with TU 08 ficos from walmart. Gotta get that freedom util down i don't think they like the 50%+ util :-(

Thanks for the update. My score is on a steady climb. 6 months ago it was at 615 and now it is at 644.
