Weird questions and failure to verify identity on various sites

My credit history is quite simple: just a bunch of credit cards and no loans of any sort whatsoever in the past.

When trying to order my free annual credt reports as well as recently when trying to sign up with quizzle.com, I've had a weird and frustrating experience:

When presented with the familiar 4 multiple-choice questions for verifying my identity, all 4 questions were concerning things which I never had (e.g. 2 questions about where and when I took a mortgage, and 2 questions about an auto loan).

The only possible correct answers to these questions are "none of the above", but after choosing these answers I'm invariably rejected as failing to verify my identity...

As quizzle relies on EQ, I called EQ and they confirmed to me that there's no record of any mortgage or auto lona on my file.

On some other occasions, I have received 4 relevant questions which I could answer with other options (instead of "none of the above" for all) and thereby verified myself properly.

Any ideas what is causing this and how to work around it?

Hi,

I was facing the exact same thing.

I have tried several things. Contacted them by Email, contacting them by phone. Both times they informed me I should contact Equifax because it looks like my report is wrong. Well, I contacted Equifax and guess what.... Of course everything was correct on their side.

I again contacted Quizzle, they said we are sorry but we cant rerun the security questions.

I asked if I will be never able to use Quizzle, they said YES.

I asked for the deletion of all my personal data from their side and for a written confirmation. Still waiting on that one.

In my oppinion that is a horrible service.

Quizzle might be a little wierd and they may not be using Equifax data for their identity questions potentially: they were Experien for a while, and most of the identiy questions are from the bureaus or other third party aggregators.

Quizzle could've written something to do this, but I'm guessing it's cheaper to outsource that rather than for them to develop it in house; also there's liability concerns too I suspect which probably dominate. I think asking Quizzle what's up is the right solution in this case, because if it's written by them they may have a bug in their implementation, and if they're using a third party, it's possible it's not Equifax Identity Solutions or whatever it's called these days.

Can't speak to Quizzle specifically but with other companies I've used "None of the above" can be a valid answer. Clearly, though, that's not the case if you're not getting past the validation question.

Iv run into the same issues with Quizzle... Have been unable to verify the questions and there like.. Theres something wrong with EQ and there isnt...

Did you ever get them to delete your account?

I had no issues with Quizzle though I am facing same issue with mint.
