AU Getting Added Fraud Alert Added

I noticed a new car dealership inquire on my credit that was fraud. Question is my girl just was approved for 4 credit cards and added me to everyone as an Au. Will me having the fraud alert on my credit will they still allow the Au's to be added ?

Welcome to the forums.

There shouldn't be a problem adding you but it might not help you being an AU because

Those accounts need to older than any of yours (older than your current AAoA is even better),

The payment history needs to be long and clean,

The utilization should be very low.

Also not every issuer will report to the CRA's. One caveat however; if these accounts starts to go south your credit will be affected as well. Keep that in mind.

On top of that. there are scoring models and creditors that don't even consider accounts where one is an AU so in such cases those accounts are just ignored.

Thanks some are reporting which is great !!! theres never been a miss payment ever.

Shes great on paying bills i have evry login and password so i can see when its even close to going late and prevent it.....
