Monthly Monitoring

Hello. I am wonderful how many people us the daily monitoring offered by MyFico. I have the ability to check my Ficos through Barclay and Cap one, but wasn't sure if they were Fakos. I also have the option to check scores through my credit union, but also am not sure if this is a Fako. I had the MyFico monitoring, but recently cancelled it and am missing it, but don't mind because it's 20 per month. Does anyone know if the banks aforementioned offer real Ficos or Fakos? Thanks

The Barclays provides a true FICO 08 TU score. It would match the score for TU that you would get here.

The Capitol One score is a half FAKO, . Their new model provides a Vantage score which is better then what they had before but it's not a real FICO.

Impossible to know about your credit union. More than likely it's either their own internal scoring or one of the Bankcard enhanced FICO Scores. Probably best way to find out is to call them and ask.

I don't what happened to my brain last night. Capitol One hasn't changed and it still is a complete FAKO. I had Creditakarma on my mind.

Some do, some don't. I don't. However knowing how many doesn't really mean anything. Each has to find solutions that best suit the individual. Do you have specific questions about myFICO's monitoring?

Irish was thinking of CK as mentioned above but scores are either FICO's or FAKO's. If it's not a FICO then it is a FAKO. There's no such thing has a half FAKO. A FAKO used by creditors is still a FAKO.

No Discover is just like Barclays. It's an 08 TU FICO.
