CA for just one day, 85 points down

Hi Everyone, THANKS TO ALL OF YOU, two years later in January my credit from 545 to 771- 768 . But January 6 this year I got a collection for $181.00 and the worse nightmare start, was a hospital bill mistake and they fix it, I called CA and same day I paid and explain to them the mistake, I got lucky and they erase it and got a letter from them, that was 45 days waiting for the info to fall off, the problem now is that Fico is not giving back the points, there is not collection in my report and never got any alert about Fico Ex,EQ or Tu saying about the collection fall off and applying my 80 points back,( Ex just 56), I had just 2%UTL now is 55%, but is going to be again 2-5% in one month, I don’t think I am going to get 100 points for that UTL. What can I do? Thanks everyone

Hi! Glad you got it erased. Myfico will not update unless you pull another report. Be patient as what is showing is not your actual scores.

I forgot to say that I got FICO 3- Bureau Credit Monitoring, I think i got the real scores every day plus the alerts, right? Thanks

You get a real score, but that score is only UPDATED when triggered by an alert (new account, inquiry, balance change, etc.) The scores are not updated in real-time.

Jdt is correct. Removal of a bad entry is not one of the triggers. Just wait for a trigger and you'll see your new scores. Or you can buy a fresh 3B report set.
