When does myfico update info on an open colleciton

A old collection form Cingular 11 (2010) just suddenly appeared on my credit as an open collection. This was a mistake made when alltel and att merged I ended up paying it off in 2010 and that was the last of it. I kept tabs on my credit report and suddenly in February (2015)this popped up I filed a claim with TU and according to my TU report and investigation the open collection was closed as of 4/11/2015. I was wondering when MyFico will update the information ? Do i need to order a new credit report to get an accurate reading? I really thought the Alert would pick this change up.

A change in collection status or even a new collection won't trigger an alert/score change. An update to an existing account will trigger the new score.

Example: In January, I had 2 collections come off via early exclusion. Fico showed the change in score when my capital one card updated. It showed +42 points for a $20 trade line balance change.
