Monthly credit report??? Help!!

I have been using free credit report.com for years but suddenly they have changed over to a different platform that I don't particularly like. Is there any others out there? Maybe cheaper than $20/month??

I don't know much about that site but if you want it free just once a year you can use Annualcreditreport.com and MyFico is good for FICO score updates but you only get a credit report update once a year. You do however get an alert when there are changes on your reports that affect your score. It just depends on how often you're trying to get a new report. You can also sign up for one CRA ( I chose Equifax) and it's $17.95 a month. Check out the plans they have for this site as well. Good luck!

credit karma is ok (has your Transunion and Equifax) and experian.com is my favorite. Lenders use Experian for mostly everything. There's a $1 fee for a one week trial then you get one month for $4.95 if you renew. After that, you need to call them and ask them for a deal otherwise you'll be paying 20/month. They gave me a deal yesterday for $10.95 for TWELVE MONTHS. That's a great deal.

The Experian service is actually pretty good. I like that they give an actual FICO 8 score which updates daily. Unfortunately they only offer that for their own report, and not all three bureaus. I may get back them and try to get that twelve month deal....

Thank you! I am spoiled in that I am used to seeing my refreshed credit report daily. It helps me to keep track of balances and helps me monitor to ensure there is no fraud. I think I am going to call and see if I can get mine lowered. Thank you for the tip! annual credit report I have used and I do have credit karma but i don't think it's very user friendly. Any tips are welcome

You make me want to go with Experian. I'll look into that when this one month is up with Equifax.

Experian is awesome although they did try to charge me before the trial was over and I could stop the trial, but I called them right away and they gave me a refund which showed in my bank the next day. They're awesome!

Free options suggested above. A couple of popular pay options are EIDT/MPM and USAA's CCMP. For the latter you'd need to negotiate a discount to reach the pricing you're looking for but many have reported being able to do so with no issues for daily pulls.

You don't track without a monitoring service? I find Mint handy for tracking balances and analytics. That is, unless by "balances" you mean "reported balances". As for fraud, keep in mind that your reports do not include transactional information. You can certainly keep an eye out for accounts that you did not open but that's just one type of fraud.

What do you find difficult about using CK to view reports? You get weekly updates on TU and EQ for free. You can also view historical reports.

Navigating the site. It changed a few months ago and ever since then it has been difficult for me. I don't have a monitoring service. I do me reported balances. Some of my cards report daily..believe it or not. One of my chase cards does.
