Trans-union hooked me up tonight!!

I went through their dispute backdoor yesterday around noon and disputed my foreclosure. It is due to fall off in May of this year. My thinking is what the heck, they can only turn me down. I told them the account was settled and ask if they could please remove it. 2 hours ago I received a email stating they had come to a decision on the dispute. I logged into TU thinking I was shot down, but to my surprise some AWESOME csr gave me the greatest gift! The foreclosure was/is completely deleted from my file. Not wanting to wait till the beginning of the month to do my $1 with credit check total. I used a different email address and created a new username to get around the 3B pull restrictions with them. My Trans-union jumped 59 points to a 761!!!! Woo Hooo Now its just waiting for Equifax to give me an answer or just wait the 2 1/2 months till it drops from their report. EQ has been the toughest on me, with my CRs. I'm not going to hold my breath that they'll cut me a break. Regardless...I'm one happy camper!!!

Let us know what happens. Same happened with me. I did a settlement on a home equity loan that was charged off in 09 and EX is due to remove 5/16. I wrote all the bureaus a letter a couple of weeks ago to confirm the deletion date and to my surprise TU went ahead and deleted it early without me requesting it. Equifax opened a dispute when I wasn't disputing anything. Just seeking info. We'll see what happens. May try and call EX or just wait it out.

I will surely let you know. I got lucky with EX. They removed the foreclosure last year in May.
EQ is hitting me twice on the same account. It was sold to a different company during the foreclosure, so I have a double whammy for the same event..kinda sucks!

No matter what happens, I'll be rid of them once and for all in May.

You convinced me to check my TU. I went here on myFico and to my surprise it was 800!!! It was 707 at last check earlier this month. I'm currently 712 on EX and 703 EQ on CCT. So this gives my great hope!! Even more excited for all this to finally end. Think I will call EX now.

Congratulations! That is GREAT news! Looking forward to hearing how each of your scores are impacted.

It will be just about 2 years from right now that I may be able to start asking/begging for EE to have my foreclosure removed from TU (a bit longer for Exp and Eq). I cannot wait to see what my scores do then.

Thanks EW800!! It's been a long road to come this far. I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Your scores look great!! You'll be in the 800's when your foreclosure falls off!

I wanted to update. Equifax is trying to report my foreclosure for 10 yrs under one of the lenders. So I'm in a battle with them to prove both loans are one and the same. Contacted the lender and let them know what was going on. I'm now waiting to hear back from lender's credit Dept on correcting the issue with Equifax. Since their CSRs can't read a CR and realize my foreclosure is reporting twice! What a bunch of morons! Foreclosures should only report 7 yrs after the first default payment.

Just an update, I filed another complaint thru Equifax and through the CFPB this morning against them for reporting the incorrect dates. I've faxed them at least for times and disputed 6 times in a week.

I guess they've decided it's not worth the trouble to keep going back and forth with me about it. Lol
As of now I just checked my file. Both foreclosures have been removed.They were there at 12:00 this afternoon. I'll check my scores and see what I get. Hopefully this isn't a glitch in the system!

Just check CCT both files are gone, score jumped from a 662 to a 744! I'm now a really happy camper!!
