How often can you utilize the CCT $1 trial ?

It's been more than a year since I checked my scores using CCT. i was wondering if anyone has tried the $1 trial and not kept service with the reduced charge and later on been able to once again check their scores using the $1 trial again. If anyone has, how long did you wait before using it again ?

I helped a friend check his scores and now I'm itching to check my own again.

I've used the $1 trial 3 times since August. Spaced it out about 3 months each time. If it's been a year, try again. All they can do is say no.

i use it 2 times a month i dont think they kep track

I was using the Experian version (which is pretty much the same as CCT) and we were doing it a lot, like every week. I'd wait until trial was over, let a day pass and redo the trial.

I use it sometimes twice a month. Just change email address. You'll get all 3 CB pulls every time. Which is 4 times a month on two renewals or $2.

are you kidding? I didn't even know you can do this lol! So do I just cancel and then use same email address to sign up again or do I need to get a new email address every time?

Cancel and ride out the free trial. You get another 3B pull 7 days after the first on that trial. Use a different email address/username if you want to pull again within a month of the first trial. It will be just like you haven't pulled it. Lol

You'll get two more 3B pulls on the second trial the same month.

Oh that's great! I'm glad I asked now. I can check it at least once a month now. This year I'm finally done with gardening and I'm going to apply for a car loan.

damn that sounds like doing to much when you have to make a new email every time. Also say they put a stop to doing this would I lose out on the $15 a month i'm paying now?

don't know but, it's $15 a month. people are going through this to save $2.75 per week. I'll stay at the $15 a month plan.

$15 - (4 x $1) = $11

$11 / 4 = $2.75 savings per week.

skip an unhealthy snack or drink once a week and do something else with the time.

You don't have to make email addresses every time. Just rotate back to the one you used the month before. I have three.
$13x12 =$156 a year verses $24 a year. Let's not even mention how much myfico cost for a year. Lol

It all adds up in savings for me, worth punching in a different email address that takes 5 seconds.. Sometimes I only pull once. Just depends on what I'm tracking.

I'm frugal.. Lol..what can I say. Being that way allowed me to open a rewards checking account recenctly that's going to generate nearly $84 a month back in my pocket. It's not what you earn .. it's how you manage it.

Since I would only be interested in monthly scores... I use the trial every other month at the END of the month (around the 28th). Then 7 days later, I get another free pull. So I get get month #1 and month #2 FICOs, see the differences, and only pay $1 for both months. Then two months later, I do the same thing and get months #3 and #4 for another $1.

^^^^ I've done that as well. I'll probably hit them again on the last day of this month. So I can get updated scores in March. Sometimes they do update early around the end of the month.
