Chase Freedom Rewards cash back points and rewards, How does it work?

So I have a Chase Freedom card and have accululated about $254.55 in cash back rewards @ 25,455 points. My account page also shows Cash Back earned summary with $104.55.

Are these 2 seperate rewards or are they combined?

Is it best to just leave the rewards and not use them until they build up?

The difference of $150 is your cash back reward for spending $500 within the first three months of the cards issue. You can have that money deposited straight into your checking account or can use it for a credit to your balance.
