All 3 credit scores

Months ago I opened a Credit Karma account but there was no score available because my file was too "thin", I kept checking and nothing showed up, so I tried freecreditscore.com. There I could see my Experian score, but still nothing on Credit Karma, so I contacted them... instead of solving my problem they made it worse and they told me my identity couldn't be verified. After that, when I tried logging in it wouldn't let me, so I got fed up and deleted my Credit Karma account. So now, I have to wait 6 months to open an account with them again.

Is there a website where I can see all my 3 credit scores for free? Right now I'm using freecreditscore.com, which provides Experian, Wells Fargo gives you another score, but I'm not sure which one it is, and also Discover provides Experian? for free (even withouth having a CC with them).

Get your real fico 8 scores for 1$ trial at credit check total -- cancel within 7 days it to be safe I cancel the next day. These are true fico and not the Vantage Fako you get with credit karma.

How long have you had credit? If your file is too thin you may not be able to generate a score; it may not be a CK thing but merely the fact that you don't have enough history yet.

While it's not completely free, I suggest a $1.00 trial membership at Credit Check Total. That's all it costs to get all 3 of your FICO 08's and access to those 3B reports. Right after you start the trial, call up on their automated system and cancel it. It only takes 2 minutes.

I know, I thought maybe I didn't have enough credit history but Experian did show my true FICO 8 score, whereas CK showed nothing. So I contacted them and they made the problem worse because they blocked my account for whatever reason, I didn't want their BS so I just deleted it

Gotcha, evidently Vantagescore 3.0 can't generate you a score with history as limited as they have for you. If you were able to get one FICO 08, chances are you can get all 3 just fine with the $1 CCT trial.

From what I have read many service providers that include CreditXpert scores as part of their offering are affiliated and are managed by the same parent (ScoreSense). The parent has a reputation for misleading consumers and putting "unauthorized" charges on credit cards. Dropping a "free trial" service within the "trial period" can be quite difficult. There have been some class action lawsuits regarding unauthorized charges. Trilegiant Corporation, the parent of Fast3creditscores, has been subject to similar complaints and class action filings.

is creditchecktotal.com trustworthy? I tried to sign up, so I entered all my information including credit card and SSN, then I got an error message saying they had "technical difficulties", that my account had been registered but they didn't charge my credit card... then I check my credit card account online and sure enough they DID charge a $1 for the trial period.

I tried logging in but I can't, it says my account doesn't exist, now I suspect that when I call they'll tell me my account doesn't exist and 7 days later my credit card will be charded $30 anyway. Are you sure it's a good website?

Yes they are legit. I've done over a dozen $1 trials and have never been over charged or been ripped off in any way. I did get a similar error once, and it had to do with them not being able to verify my identiy (suffix on my name). Call them up, talk to CS for a few minutes and they'll iron it out for you and you'll be all good to log in and use the service.

The isse with me is that I have just recently moved, so the information hasn't been updated across all beaureus, therefore when I try one of those websites they get all confused. Some websites ask if you have recently moved within 6 months, so you can enter your old address, but not all, and even then the system gets confused or something.

How good is the Discover Scorecard? My score there is 742!

Their "what if" simulator is highly regarded by some loan officers in estimating effect of changes in an applicant's profile on Fico mortgage scores. The scoring model and CreditXpert are not part of the reported scams, it is some 3rd party users..

Well, I signed up for a 14 day PrivacyGuard trial membership for $1 to get my CreditXpert scores and 3B report. If you are planning to get a mortgage - It's worth a look!!

I like the report and the "compare" feature which identifies account differences among the credit reports. Really a helpful tool - but not worth the $19.99 monthly fee. The CreditXpert algorithm (based on score results) appears to have some commonality with Classic Fico 04. I had 5 of 6 credit cards reporting balances on EQ and TU and 4 of 6 reporting on EX. The lower EQ CreditXpert score relative to other CRAs is in-line with what I see with EQ Fico 04 score under similar circumstances.

I found an older Fico 3B report wher I had 5 of 6 cards reporting balances across all 3 CRAs (aggregate UT at 3%). Pasted below are the corresponding Fico 04 scores - and yes I cut paste to show EX Fico 04 (score 3) instead of EX 98 (score 2) to maintain apples to apples comparison with CreditXpert.

I'm a bit taken aback by how close CreditXpert scores are to Fico 04 scores. [BBS - for a $1, 14 day trial you may want to get PrivacyGuard's CreditXpert scores and check out the simulator]

EW800, Go for it - I really liked the web site and PrivacyGuard is a good product for credit/fraud monitoring.

I did feel a bit guilty about cancelling after 4 days but cancellation is easy to do online - no requirement to talk with a high pressure CSR that tries talking you out of cancellation. They do send confirmation via email and allow you to keep access for the full 14 days for the $1 trial.

Great find/info here TT! I will definitely grab a trial in the next few days and see how those scores compare to my FICO 08 scores. The feature that compares your reports sounds quite useful as well.

BBS - CreditXpert scores are comparable to Fico 04 scores - NOT Fico 8 scores.

The CreditXpert model was developed over 10 years ago - long before Fico 8 came along. It is a good tool for "what if" simulations on how to improve mortgage scores - not overly predictive when applied to "modern" credit scoring algorithms."

P.S. As with VantageScore 4.0, Credit Xpert will be/has rolled out a trended algorithm. At this time that is not available to consumers.
