Experian score dropped 70 points

Hello

I had a 180 days + delinquency back in 03/2010 from my Mortgage account, so I'm expecting to go away at any moment now. Back in February i open a Credit Check Total acc and my Fico score8 was 702 from experian and it did showed my late account. 20 days later my late account was gone from Experian and my score slowly starts to go up, by March 15, My Experian was 791 from CCT , 781 from Discover and 786 from Amex Credit check. Last week my late account came back to my Experian and drop my score to 720 from CCT , 714 from Amex and 722 from Discover. What's going on here??? Can a late go away and come back? Very frustrated, I was so excited building my credit up and all of the sudden it dropped 70 points. Please any advice?? thanks

Edit: I haven't open any new acc since i start with CCT or neither apply to new ones, the only chance on my credit was a CLI from Amex from 10K to 30K.

You pulled a new credit report and it shows the late payment again? If you've pulled a new 3B report and the late is back, I would call the CRA's and ask why the late was removed and then added back.

Sounds like your "final baddie" returned which would cause the score drop. Likely a mistake/error, it should be quite easy to get it removed again if you contact the CRAs. This isn't all too uncommon to be honest as I've seen a bunch of people post about this. I've had a baddie vanish, return and vanish again recently over the course of about 1.5 months. I only hope this time it stays gone
