EDIT: Cap One DOES have Touch ID. Found it, and just turned it on. I think the question comes because the app doesn't offer it to you right away, you have to go look for it.

I agree with this. Apple FCU - a small, regional CU - has Touch ID, so why can't one of the largest CU's in the nation?

PenFed does need to up their game on the technology...even their website is stone age.

You could use "Pattern Login" but i aleast for me, when i try to log in a few days later, i have to enter user/password and set it up again, a pain!

PenFed app is very limited for account activity ,
Not like nfcu the app they have is awesome

As it is, I really just use the Penfed iPhone app to keep track of my account balances. If I want to do any real work on it, I need to log on to the website, which means a desktop or laptop; sure, you can log on via your phone's browser (in my case, Safari) but trying to do anything significant with a financial site on an iPhone SE screen is calculated to incite sharp pains in the fundament very quickly.

I can't find the option and yes, it is so annoying to have to enter everything. I am so used to just using my fingerprint.

Perhaps slightly off-topic but related to PenFed--- from others' experience, does PenFed ever ask for paystubs when applying for revolving credit products? (not for mortage)

As we know, come CUs make one jump through a bunch of hoops like asking for utility bills, paystubs, etc, etc.

Has anyone with PenFed been asked to provide paystubs during their regular applications credit products (e.g. based on offers) or is this common or not?

I was approved for a $10.5k Promise Card and $500 overdraft protection without POI.

I was conditionally approved for my requested $5k PLOC w/POI.

I am on disability, so sent my disability letter showing what I receive monthly and was approved for $1k and then a $7.5 Power Card and a $7.1 auto loan w/1.49% financing.
