I got married to my husband like a year and a half ago, and my credit is not so great, his is much better. I made a lot of mistakes in my credit file before, but now I'm much more responsible with money and credit. Unfortunately, as we all know it takes a long time to recover from credit mistakes. Now my question is this. If my husband adds me as an authorized user on his high-limit credit cards, would that alter my utilization ratio to help my credit? Or would it be better to just let him use one of my cards and pay it off each month to build my credit? Thanks for the help!

Congrats on the nuptials 🍾 Him adding you as and AU should have a positive impact especially if he has you on an account with a long history.
