Barclay - Something new is coming...!

Got this email tonight:

We're making a new name for ourselves.

We're Barclaycard, but soon, we'll be Barclays. And even though our name is changing, you can continue using your Barclaycard Arrival™ as you normally would. Things will start to look a little different, but just keep doing what you're doing.

Keep enjoying.
Your card and account number will both stay the same. You won't have to change a thing.

Keep going.
Continue making payments as you have been.

Keep clicking.
The name on the website and mobile app will be changing but the functionality will stay the same.

Keep connecting.
As always, click/call customer service is available 24/7. We're here when you need us.

Our change to Barclays will be gradual over the coming months. But all you have to do is absolutely nothing!

They may have something new in store but all that email says is we're changing name, please don't freak out!

lol, not freaking out, just sharing...but, when companies change names, sometimes other changes follow...hoping for positive ones

Read this morning from an email and then later read an article Barclay paying out $2bn in lawsuit. Connection? Could be.

Maybe, but the lawsuit is from the mortgage size.

However, I found out that BarclayCard is a division of Barclays. So if they're changing name from BarclayCard to Barclays, they might be getting rid of BarclayCard division and putting the CCs portfolio under Barclays.
