Just got the update on the PenFed app, it looks awesome! love it! Finally their IT team did something nice.

The app works pretty well. Now if they would just add an ability to AutoPay the statement, I’d be thrilled.

I have both. I'm kinda new to android but I noticed that it's not like iOS where you check for updates and it shows all apps that have an update available.

With Android, sometimes there are updates available but they don't show when you check under updates. I refresh, and nothing comes up. But then, I look up the app itself, and there's an update waiting. Really annoying. Anyway, just saying because that's how I found the update for the PenFed app on Android.

My update was for iOS. If you have an iphone, you can go to the store and refresh so it appears.

Got the update on my iPhone today. It's certainly a nice update. Would be nice if they refresh the desktop page now.

Looks like it's not available for Android yet as the Play Store still has the old version listed. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.penfed.mobile.banking

It is available on Android. I already updated it too.

App is is still using iPhone 6/7/8 screen size... 😟😟

IMHO, American Express and Chase have the best design/organization.

Just got approved for PenFed. Very happy. Added checking and CC with SL at $8,500, almost 3x my prior cards! Very happy.

Was surprised that opening the account resulted in a EQ hard pull. Opened a CC and Checking Account the same day to avoid additional hard pull. CSRA told me that every account was subject to a potential hard pull, although you were likely to avoid them if you did all within a short period of time.

Was surprised that mobile deposit wasn't an option. You can do a external transfer from a non-PenFed account, although that takes a week or so to enable.
