Oh boy..My EQ file is jacked up/possibly split.

I pulled a new report from EQ itself...not a different site. I was primarily wanting to see if my tax lien was truly off my report...(it was, yay!). While looking it over Im like ...what a mess.

Some closed accounts still showing open (some have been closed for a year)

Some open accounts showing closed

Some accounts havent updated the new CL's for like a year

2 negative items that remain in perpetual "dispute" without ever getting resolution (fine by me, they can stay that way till they fall off, LOL)

I just dont know if I have the energy to try and fix this. Even if I do, they will say.."you need to contact the creditor". I'll respond with, "they are reporting correctly on EX snd TU, so its NOT a lender thing". Back and forth, back and forth, with half the time me saying," I cant understand you, transfer me to the U. S.".... (sighs)

Suggestions?

I've read that people have called their executive office or dispute department and had success that way .

No clue on how to contact EO but dispute dept is 877-784-2528 ( 9 am to 5 pm)

They will probably ask you to mail some personal info, such as DL

Sometimes they fix it really quickly, but I've also heard of them telling consumers that their files are too big to be fixed

Well, I wouldnt be surprised with 110 accounts total, and umpteen HP's/SP's, LOL...(not all of those are open).

Unfortunately, this is going to be a constant battle pizza 😑

Their EO mostly refers those issues to the mainline EQ CS folks to report and remedy the issue (very mixed outcomes). EQ is definitely lacking (compared to say TU and/or EX) and appears to have a lot of instability with very large data files.

So, this will be a chronic issue until (a) they fix the file size storage problem or (b) you reduce the number of *potential* new accounts, HPs/SPs as well as any third party monitoring providers who provide EQ CR data. But, we all know that neither seems unlikely for the time being 😁

LOL Fin...Probably unlikely as I have my eyes set on a few treasures later this year, lol..
