New Paypal Credit (formerly BML) July 2018 statement

Just got my new statement for my Paypal Credit account. Statement cut on July 15, 2018. Statement is still exactly the same as the Comenity statement format, even the payment address is still the same. Due date is 8/12/2018, account number the same. Only thing different is the box that breaks down the charges, it has a new line with the new APR listed to show new charges after the change in terms. I haven't used the account since the change in terms and Synchrony acquistion. Comenity's phone number is still listed as the customer service number. Maybe we won't see the new Synchrony statements until next month. So far it is still a hidden tradeline.

Does your billing issue relate to debt that is owed to Commenty, or is it a line of credit established between you and PayPal, with your debt obligation thus being directly to PayPal, and not merely a transaction forwarded to the credit card company for billing?

That is relevant in establishing who owns the debt, and thus who you are responsible to for payment.

It is apparently PayPal, and not Commenty?

Since the billing issue relates to revolving credit, whatever billing related dispute you may have is covered under the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), for which you can file a dispute with whoever is billing the asserted information within 60 days of your becoming aware of the billing related matter.

Actually I'm not having any billing issues. Just wanted to let everyone know how my Paypal Credit statement looked this month since Synchrony acquired the accounts from Comenity. The change took effect July 2, 2018 and it was unclear with forum members how the accounts would report (or not report)and what changes Synchrony might make. Everyone was notified about APR changes based on individual profiles back in June. I was just providing some DP's for anyone interested. Thanks for response!
