Hey guys. Turns out I received several months of Experian monitoring---FREE. I signed up for the new credit monitoring package months ago. I thought I hadn't been billed in a few months but wasn't positive. Sure enough I got an email from Experian this week stating I had not been billed for months due to an internal error. Since it was on them they weren't trying to recoup the loss. Instead, my billing would resume next month, same date and same price as before. Thought I'd share in case others also experienced this.

Awesome !!! I also use Experian. Must be a glitch but every month a few days before I’m going to be billed , I change my membership back to the free one. I log in a few days later and as soon as I log in it offers me a 30 day free trial and then I will be billed. Has worked since I started my credit journey so I hope it works for others !!

Wow!!! That's great news their not coming after you for the months that were unpaid. They unmistakably get my money every month. 😔 I'm actually thinking about getting rid of it since I pay for the monthly service with MyFico. Also, I recently got a Discover card and Amex card that both provide me scores for free too. I'm contemplating if it's worth having anymore.

Their billing department is a huge mess, I joined one of their $19.95 package last April at the beginning of my credit journey, called them to cancel before end of the first month, they offered me a promotional rate of $9.95/month for the first year to keep the subscription and I took it. However, they never charged my card for the entire year until the promotional period was up in May this year even though it always said $9.95/month under "my membership". I thought about calling them a few times but decided to sit on it and see what happens, I have since changed my subscription to Identity Works Plus for $9.95 and they never said anything about the year worth of missing charges LOL.

It provides daily 3AM update on both Experian FICO 8 score and report, this allows me to precisely isolate and attribute individual actions to score changes when I was experimenting with AZEOs...etc.

2. The ability to lock and unlock EX in seconds instead of going through the pain of freeze/unfreeze.

No other products in the market offers this, at least not for $9.95/month.

Sounds like a good choice for you!

My last message was directed specifically at Tutheather22, who said that now that she (?) is getting free FICO scores through her credit cards, she was going to cancel one of her paid services. It implies that maybe all she really needs is a monthly FICO 8 -- and in that case I was suggesting she might be overpaying with her $480 subscription to myFICO.
