I woke up to an email from EX saying there was a change in my credit (my heart jumped thinking credit theft since I haven’t applied to anything). It was just a credit score update??

Wait. Since when has EX been giving free FICO 8 scores out? I have a few scores listed over the summer so it must update frequently.

Anyone have any clue?

EX has a product just like myfico, and they offer all the Fico scores. I subcribe to both Myfico and EX.

I personally encourage everyone to subscribe to creditscore.com, which will give you a full credit report from Experian as well as a FICO 8 score. It does that once a month.

There are other places to get free FICO 8 Experian scores. I like the above site because you are getting a full report as well.

Yea but the Experian Fico is free all of a sudden.

It's been free for a long time, well over a year and probably longer... I just wasn't checking years ago and can't say for sure how long.
