So, it seems the FTC won a huge civil and criminal case against this online payday lender of 1.3 billion !!! Guess who had one of those loans way back in 2008 in the pit of my desperation, yep, ME. A nice little refund check today for 281.26 from the settlement. The owner, Scott Tucker, also got 16 yrs jail time.

I got a check today too. $596. I am skeptical that it’s real, and afraid to deposit it. I did take out a couple of payday loans with some pretty shady companies back a while ago.

Does anybody know anything about these refunds? Are they real?

I received two checks and my husband received one (we had a few of these loans...really tough time financially back then) and they are legit.
The information is on the FTC website and if you google the title of this thread, you'll get information from several reputable sources.

Do you guys know about how much everyone will receive an will it be more than 1 check because it said partial payment on mines for 81 bucks

I got 1 but it was 81 bucks wish I had yours instead lol.. They are legit
