Lifting a Credit Freeze

I'm going for a mortgage loan here pretty soon and have had my credit frozen for about a year and half.

Is there a certain amount of time I should unfreeze all three bureaus for the lender to run my credit? Is is same day type of speed or do I have to give it time?

I always unfreeze for at least a few days if I know I'm trying to secure any kind of credit. You could possibly ask them which bureau they need you to unfreeze and when.

Unfreezing has always worked instantly for me...meaning within an hour or so I've had zero issues. Same day should be fine but I'd do it a business day beforehand just to make sure you face no hiccups.
