Does Capital One back date?

I am in the middle of rebuilding my credit from credit problems in 2015-2016 that have followed me ever since. I am finally getting it under control by settling most of most debts about 6 weeks ago.

I burned Capital One for $5500, but just settled with them for 60% 6 weeks ago... Thankfully they have already let me back in the door with a QuicksilverOne card and I am curious if I'll be dated to 2019, or 2005 when I got my original Capital One.

AMEX used to backdate but even they stopped doing it.

That's disappointing, but, I also disappointed them. I'm just grateful they have let me back in so quickly.
