VantageScore 3 has really become bait on a hook for the credit uneducated. Many people, just browse CK's help forum, think it's accurate & real world applicable. It entices people to use their credit product(s). Chase & Amex are offering it now as well to everyone...not just to their card holders. If you know what VS3 is it's fine...a basic free monitoring tool with some educational facets. It's not useless. Also, you must keep in mind that VS3 is a joint venture between Equifax, Transunion, & Experian...they are likely pushing it on to credit card companies to garner some backing & legitimacy.

So why do all the sites use v3.0 . Is it cheaper or easier to access. I wishbone had a daily update of all 3 FICO scores. I would pay for that.

Nothing in life is free, I feel these sites try to entice to appy for the credit cards on thier sites as they get kick backs from the credit card companies, there are other sites that give you free trials some are 7 days and some are up to 30 days for Fico scores from all 3. I dumped credit karma and credit sesame, they just peddle cards for make money off the "free" credit profile. I get this from Cap 1, why bother being told get this card or that card. If you want to pay, this own site has its Fico score, I feel the price is a little high but you would get all 3 ficos

Yeah I'm just wondering why they use vantage 3.0. There must be a reason. I'm sure it a free site used a FICO version it would have more users.

I currently have Experian premiere and transunion. The TU uses V 3.0 so I'm canceling that. The Experian is good. It has FICO and updates daily for Experian. Monthly access to all 3.

I also would like a daily update of all 3 . I would pay for that for sure.
