Experian credit report on I Phone ap.

Hi I was on the Experian I phone ap, I saw on the comment line for some that had no balance usage fair. I have never seen that before. What does that mean, will other banks see that and say we will not approve you for creditcard because you don't use your other cards enough. On another part of thiss board I said that I talk to guy at Barclays and he said in next couple yyears banks will cut cl if you don't use them.

I noticed this too. All of mine say it with or without a balance.

It is going to be really annoying if they start slashing our limits without taking into account FICO scoring penalties for utilization but it appears that is where it’s going. I don’t carry balances and I pay most cards off before the statement is issued so I can live with it but it’s going to impact other people a lot harder.

When I downgraded my AA aviator card to a Barclays reward card , and i didn’t use it for a year or so they didn’t CLD they just closed it. I never used that card so no harm no foul. Didn’t really affect my AAOA .

OP said in another thread that they are blind and using a screen reader so that may have something to do with it.

Yes banks don't want you have large amounts of cl and not use them. Just because Fico score goes up when you have low ulitization doesn't make bank amy money if you are not using your account the risk if you have 20k line and only using about 2k of it. You see all over place people saying don't use more 10 percent of your cl. The banks don't make money so haveing a great Fico score doesn't make bank any more money, the banks are cutting each others throats by trying to get customers to take each others cards. I think game is going to change over next couple of years. For example I have total cl of 122K and only use about 3k of it.

The banks make more money from subprime customers who have scores around 670 and pay lot of intrest. Banks and creditcard co's may start looking at other things then Fico look at Fico has done with Fico bost thay want to get more people in creditcard game.

This could be a bug on Experians end. As if the new update I haven’t been able to even log in. The website works but it doesn’t have as much info at least in mobile that is.

I can't log into the app either. I've tried deleting it and downloading it again, but it still gives me the same error message that there are "technical difficulties" or whatever.

I jI just went Experian app and it open and down loaded whth no problem.

Nope. Still not working for me. Whatevs. I'm fine using the site for now. The app doesn't let me see my other scores, so I usually end up using the site anyways.
