779 NFCU Fico

I just saw my new official score with NFCU and it is 779! I am almost to 800 but to realize I am in a spot of having the best rates on everything just makes me want to cry from happiness. It has been amazing how much this forum has helped and done for all of us. I started at 471 in December 2017 and now I am at 779 in April of 2019. Thank You!

Congrats!! Its a great feeling to see the progress. My updated NFCU score was 750. It would be a dream to reach 800 club!!

Does NFCU provide a FICO 8 score, or is it FICO 9?

Is the EQ score only provided to credit card holders? Or, is it available for those who only have checking/savings?

From their web site -

"Primary cardholders of a Navy Federal credit card will receive their FICO Score 9 based on Equifax data, updated monthly, when available. From the Account Summary page, click on "View your FICO® Score."

I only have a checking and a savings account and don't see a "View your FICO® Score." option.

You need a credit product.

Big congrats i actually achieved an 800 (810) fico9 earlier last year via PF , no good it did me though. If i can ever see 800 9n fico8, that would be amazing. Enjoy your new score

No, not at all. Just in my case , Penfed loathes me lol and any score, 8 or 9 is worthless without the income to back it up. Thats just my view so dont let my saltiness take away from enjoying your score.
