PFD for Charge-off

This account was settled with the original creditor and is almost three years old. I owe 2k on the credit line. Should I send a PFD letter or DV first and see what comes back? This account is not in collections and is closed on the CR.

Received my GW response from Chase today, no go! Letter came from the Executive Office of Card Services. Now this TL is CO, next step?

I would do a DV first and then if they can provide the information. Then, PIF.

Do the DV with the Collection Agency itself, not the credit bureaus. Sorry I didn't answer before been a rough week.

The account is not with collections, the account was FUSA now Chase. This CO will sit on my CR for 7 years, so if I can get it removed, by any means, it would be helpful.

When you start a tread it will always be on page 1...as you can see as they get added it moves down the list.

People that read it will answer If they can. It will keep moving until it gets answered.

If You get no answer in say 24 hrs. click reply and then type bump.

this puts it back upfront so people can see it.
