hey guys, so i currently have the Experian app which updates around the 11-13th every month (free version), however my one and only credit card(no loans currently) statement cuts on the on the 7th, im wondering if through that week where i can’t see my new score, if i app for a new card will the updated statement balance score be pulled or the one i see in app?

sorry if it’s a bit confusing and i know i can wait an extra week but im pretty hyped for a new card app with this upcoming 1% balance report coming 7th (down from 13% this statement)

and AMEX prequalify tool has given me the green light on the card i want, the cash magnet (: even with 13% reporting so this 1% will forsure get me in the door fingers crossed

thanks for the reading and assistance

Do you know the Statement Close date for your credit card? Most credit cards, except for those issued by U.S. Bank, Elan Financial Services, and a few other lenders, report to the credit bureaus at midnight Eastern Time of the Statement Close date. In my experience, Experian is the fastest CRA to update; it usually releases an update at midnight Pacific Time on the day after the card reported to them.

So for example, you card's Statement Close date is November 6; it will report the balance at that date to the credit bureaus at midnight Eastern Time. Experian will process the information and release an updated credit report at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time on November 8. But you might want to give it an extra day or two especially if the card's statement date falls on a weekend.
