    <description>I don’t think it will happen and I see no valid reason for it to happen. The inquires seem to be legit (in that your applied for credit regardless of the outcome).</description>

      <title>AMEX removing prior approval HP’s?</title>

      <description>has anyone had any experience with this? i have about 5 AMEX inquiries since oct 2018 and only my 5th inq resulted in approval.. i was wondering if i could maybe shave off the prior four? is it possible you think?</description>

      <description>It's a no. Valid inquiries do not get removed. Amex will not oblige and you'd have to declare them fraudulent (resulting in a fraud alert being placed on your files) for the bureaus to even consider removing them.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;OP, dont play with this. The only ways to dispute HP is to claim no permissible purpose or fraud. Either way, it goes back to Amex. You're basically telling them that they either did not have the permission to pull your credit, or that someone else applied in your name, and asking them to respond&lt;BR /&gt;If you find no value in that card, or your "relationship" with them, go ahead and dispute.&lt;BR /&gt;Your credit is so young, and if you feel the need to resort to this, nothing good will come out of it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
