How lond did it take your new account to post?

I recently got a synovus personal credit card and it posted as a new account in 5 business days. So i was just curious as to how long it'll take for different companies to post a new account.

Apple Card -- 4 months

Amex -- 2 months

Regions -- 1 month

Synovus -- 5 days

NFCU - 45 Days or more

Discover - 60 days

Amex - 45 days

Ollo - 5 days

Sync Bank - Next day at the most

Comenity - 2-3 days

The only one I thought was weird was Disco. The app said my statement would start when I used the card for the first time. I didn’t use it for the first couple weeks. After my first card swipe though, it reported within 2-3 days.

I thought this information could be useful in case someone wanted to apply for a couple of cards within a period of time,

Actually... while the wheel was spinning... before the approval popped up. Actually, I think my Ebay MC of last week reported the same actual day as the approval.

Update: And they just reported again with a $164 balance mid cycle. Don't even have the card yet!

The only one I remember off hand is my Amex and that took about 3 months.

Here are the ones I can remember: AmEx took 2-3 billing cycles. PNC reported less than 10 days from account opening.

I’ve recently been approved for cards from NFCU and Capital One; I have no idea how long they’ll take as this is my first from NFCU and first in more than 20 years from C1.

I truly don't that think there's a hard science behind it, it's probably more of a YMMV situation. While Amex is the constant 2 statement periods for most of us, others are all over the place.

I recently apped a BoA card and it already shows on CRA, an my first statement hasn't cut yet.

I thought synchrony reported before you decided to app? 30 seconds is about right for them. I swear I have gotten a new account alert before the inquiry alert.

Amex reports on the second statement.
All my others (that I remember) have reported on the first statement.

Apple is reporting 3 months old info to TU.

US bank reports on the last business day of the month but I’m not sure about a new account (if something might be generated at statement date in addition).

Statements can be anywhere from 1 or 2 to 30-ish days after the account is opened. I’ve not had any that reported at any specific number of days. It’s always coincided with the first or second statement (except synchrony which is pretty immediate).

I don't remember how fast Cap1 posted as it was my first card prior to coming here.

WF cut a $0 statement on the day they mailed the card, pretty sure the accpunt was on my report before I even got the card. On the bright side got a free month of "good standing" towards my history.

Disco posted when my first statement cut. First statement cut roughly 2 weeks after approval

Discover reported for me in days. American Express took three months. I’ll have to look up the others.

Chase - more than 1 month

Citi - 1-2 weeks (got a new account hit before I even activated the card)
